Thank you for organizing this amazing event. I loved planning and curating my eid box; it was such a delightful experience. I think it also built up excitement in our home for eid since everyone knew I was making special items. I personally tried a few new recipes that I ended up loving and will make a staple in our household. It was a wonderful creative outlet to research recipes, cook and bake items, package then beautifully and then take photos before sending them out with a whole lotta love :) Thank you for all the support you provided by giving lots of ideas, creating Pinterest boards and holding such informational live sessions. I felt really well supported to create and curate my eid swap box. We also loved receiving our eid box before eid. Our sender was Arab so it was really interesting to try eid delicacies from another culture. I’ll definitely be hitting up our local Arab bakery to buy more of the cookies our gifter included in the box we received. Thank you so much for all your hard work and efforts to spread eid joy! Can’t wait for the Eid Food Swap 2021.

As an expat, I crave the Eids back home where the air is filled with festivity in the weeks leading up to the actual event. This year, curating a package filled to the brim with edible and non edible goodies was a unique experience that I enjoyed thoroughly. In return, I received a box clearly put together with a lot of love and attention to detail. I'm so grateful to Izzah, the driving force behind Eid Food Swap, for making my Eid in a foreign land so heartwarming!

2020's Eid Food Swap was a gift to all participants that went beyond the belly. During a time of intense social-distancing, being anonymously matched to a stranger created much-needed bonds and togetherness for Eid Al-Adha. Personally, I tried recipes I wouldn't have tried otherwise because the motivations were in truly creating something special for your giftee. I feel that I grew in baking, cooking, writing, and crafting because of Eid Food Swap. Izzah was highly communicative and the careful steps she took in designing a flawless swap was evident. The communication made things very easy for a first-time swap participant like myself. I can't wait to participate again should she do it again next year! Highly recommend!

Iftar Swap 2021/Eid Food Swap 2021 was a seamless, wonderful experience. In a time of Corona, the team at Iftar Swap was excellent at coordinating, selecting swapees close to other swapers and following up about swap packages. This has been and remains a reliable, wonderful activity to partake in and I truly hope it continues next year. The Iftar basket I recieved this year went above and beyond - I was truly blown away! These swaps encourage me to be creative and try new recipes - an experience that is truly invaluable. Would highly reccomend to anyone wanting to brighten up someone else's Ramadan/Eid alongside their own :)
